You obviously failed to notice the part where the Holy Spirit descends from heaven like a dove, and transforms the bread and wine into the real and substantial body and blood of Jesus Christ.
Somehow, no matter how many times I witness something like that, it's still very inspiring.

If you go to Mass just to fulfill your churchly duties, then, yes, it can get boring. And I know somewhere along in my life it did that to me, but, I am one of the lucky ones who was an Altar Boy back when the Mass was in Latin, and after I went through that adolescent know-it-all era, and even explored several protestant churches, and no churches at all as an option, I found myself more than gloriously rewarded in coming back to the ROMAN Catholic Church. I can tell you that if you have any experience with the Latin Masses, and maybe even took course in Latin in highschool like I did for two years, you'll find the Latin Masses that are still going on quite rewarding. Also, the Leaflet Missal company sells fantastic material in Latin, such as the "Missale Romanum / 1962" which is superb in being brought back into the Mass's full content, and the smaller "The Roman Missal / 1962" which you can take to Church with you and return to the fullness of the Mass before the times when everyone thought they just HAD to have Mass said in their "native tongue". May God Bless you on your efforts to return to the fullness of the Roman Catholic Mass, in Latin. God Bless you.

I am not Catholic or ex, but I have been to some of the services. I don't understand why some things are done the way they are.

yup.
arcihecturally, the churches are beautiful.
I like the rituals...the holy water, the sensors, the visuals: the stained glass, the gold detailing, the deep red carpets...
it was sensously pleasant, but not convincing.
