well it could be your mic, or if your radio has a mic gain control try turning it up some if its not already up, if its not that it might be inside the radio, on the inside there is a chip that controls the modulation(your voice output) this chip my be blown, also you may have what is called a cold solder joint(a point on the bottom side of the circuit board that is not making connection). if your problem is one of the last two i mentioned then you need to seek professional help such as a local cb shop, a truck stop cb shop, or even an online cb repair shop because you will not be able to fix the problem your self. this is good sound advice as i own and operate a cb repair shop here in s.c. at exit 52 on us interstate 26 .if you are ever down this way stop in and say hi to us we will be very happy to meet you. i monitor cb channel 19 i am dixieoutlaw of outlaw's cb shop.

It could be the mike,but I kinda doubt it! could be many things,bad transmit relay,blown RF final,best thing is to take it to a REPUTABLE repair faclity.

sounds like your mike needs to be replaced.
