anyone know of a surgeon / clinic who does ethnic rhinoplasty in the Uk?i am a black female with an incredibly wide nose and i would like it narrowing without losing its ethnicity. replies with '..what god gave you' and moralistic 'love yourself as you are' will not be taken seriously, thanks

Sorry, don't have a name, but good for you for wanting to maintain your ethnicity and keeping that in focus. All too often plastic surgeons have their own ideas about beauty, and so being clear in the beginning will help prevent "generic"nose.
(did you notice that EVERY contestant on the Swan ended up with the same nose?!)

I'd like to suggest you to go to India, Thailand, Singapore, etc. where they not only provide you top quality treatment for much less but also pay attention to ethnicity.
A friend of mine had her rhinoplasty treatment done in India for about 20% of the price in the UK including the travel and other related costs. She is very happy with the results as it has improved her life tremendously. She used the services of a medical tourism facilitator called Healthbase (http://www.healthbase.com). They also allow you correspondence with a plastic surgeon even before you actually fly there so you can get your doubts clarified. They have a lot of online resources you might find helpful.
