What exactly is the pentacostal religions beliefs?

I know the women wear skirts and cut their hair but what else are some of their beliefs? And why do they only wear skirts?

Apostolic Pentecostals believe in being baptized in Jesus name and the infilling of the Holy Ghost, of which speaking in tongues is the initial sign. We believe Jesus is God, the Bible is the infallible word of God, heartfelt worship (raising hands, dancing, jumping, running, shouting as the spirit leads), and we believe that prayer and holy living is necessary.

Women only wear skirts, because the bible teaches that it is wrong for a woman to put on anything that pertains to a man. In our culture this means pants (even our public bathroom signs show women in a dress, men in pants.) Our hair is a symbol of our submission to our husband and to God.

Pentacostal actually refers to a general set of beliefs and actually doesn't have anything to do with cutting hair or wearing skirts. Pentacostal refers to a set of a few Christian denominations like the Church of God or Church of the apostles. These are known by their emphasis on the works of something called the "Holy Spirit". The Holy Spirit is the part of God that lives inside man. He is God's power and is the one who does miracles, he speaks to man, moves in the world, etc. So Pentacostal churches focus on the works of the Holy Spirit- this is their primary distinctive. They also put emphasis on "speaking in tongues". This is a language that is known to be from God and not understood on earth. To us it sounds like gibberish, but it is supposed to be a "heavenly language" that God gives to men as they seek Him for it. It's a great question.

To answer the part about beliefs it depends. You see there is Oness Pentecostals and Trinity. Oness baptize in the name of Jesus Christ. Where as Trinity baptize in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit.
To answer the second part / Pentecostal women wear skirts and dresses because pants are considered to be a man's garment and the Bible speaks on how a woman should not wear a man's garment.

Many conservative Christian churches think that it is wrong for women to wear pants because of Deuteronomy 22:5, not just conservative Pentecostals. Conservative churches consider pants to be "men's" clothing.

Pentecostals believe that one cannot be filled with the Holy Spirit until one receives the "Baptism Of the Holy Spirit". This is NOT water baptism (although they practice that too). They believe that this is a spiritual baptism that causes one to be fully Christian, and that it is usually accompanied by speaking in tongues. They encourage everyone to speak in tongues, and many people do it spontaneously throughout the worship service. If you cannot speak in tongues, most of the Pentecostal churches will consider you to be a bad Christian.

Most churches consider the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to be the same thing as being "saved" (not a separate thing), and that the miracle of tongues is no longer common.
