It would be nice to have all the fundies gone... then we could have a nicer world (for the most part)... Mardi Gras would be extended... having fun would be ok, and no tithing!
That is... if I believed in a rapture, which I don't.

I would think the world would be in chaos for at least a little while. Not so much because the believers are no longer a part of the decision making process of every day life but because of their "unexplained disappearance". The day will never come when everyone will believe that the disappearance had anything to do with God. For those of us who are believers in the rapture taking place prior to the tribulation and prior to Christ's return, we also believe that the rapture will be followed by the rise of the anti-christ. He will come as a friend....then turn into a terrorist of the worse kind. During that time, the world could likely become pretty terrible because of his activities. Add that to the various judgements that will happen to mankind and you have a very unpleasant enviornment. All of these things are written in the book of Revelation. ( I realize of course that anything is subject to interpretation but that is how I see it)

I believe that after the raptor the only people who will left will be the really tasteless.
Oh.....what's that ? Rapture ??? Oh, fiddlesticks, answering the wrong question again !
Ok, starting over, after the 'rapture' everyone will wake up pretty much the way people did on the morning of January 1st 1,000 ad. Totally gobsmacked to find out that they are still extant, and probably considerably relieved.
The world will definitely be a better place................for a while.
But I bet that quite a few will revert to their naughty deeds in double quick step, especially as they will probably think that there will be no-one watching them.

In the Bible the Book of Revelation tells us that you will receive a mark in your forehead or hand and you cannot buy or sell without it. And it says you will worship the anti-Christ who is none other than the old devil, Satan, himself. There will be a one world order and Satan will run the world and demand that he be worshiped by you. He will have great powers and no one can resist him or make war against him.
The world will be under an absolute dictator worst than Hitler or any other evil human. His religion will be THE religion and he will declare himself god and you must worship him or die.
I ask you the same question, will the world be better? For me, I will be raptured by Jesus so I can escape these things which are coming upon the earth.

I don't believe in a secret rapture...the Bible doesn't support it. All that is a made up idea to make people think there is going to be a second chance. The bible says Jesus will come in the clouds and every eye shall see Him...and we will be brought up to meet Him in the clouds and the dead in Christ shall rise first. The ones who resisted God all their lives will be burned up.

IIf I have this 'rapture' thing correctly then 'the chosen' will be removed, instantly, from the Earth? And we don't have to pay anyone for this? Well, I could live with that.

Not for them.
What happens when you remove all the salt from something that is preserved in salt?
You better eat it or cooking right away.
Otherwise is goes rotten almost immediately.

I pray for all those, in there heaven, with there jealous, punishing, God. enjoying there smug superiority to those left behind. looking down at them. I hope someday they will be able to look up and see that they there is a better God above there God. Then they can go up anytime they want too.
