I'm supposed to go and have blood work done tomorrow (just annual stuff - cholesterol - sugar levels - thyroid - etc.). Yesterday I started coming down with some kind of flu or cold. I was running a temp last night (101)- and I think I still have a low grade fever today. Can I still get the blood work done - or do I have to wait until I'm healthy? Any effects that this will have on the results?

It's a good idea to keep your appointment and get it done. If you have an infection, they will catch it in your white blood count, as it will be elevated. So, yeah, good time to go.

Unless you are too sick to go out, there is no reason not to have your routine blood work done. Worst case scenario would be that they would find out why you are sick.

If you pay you can get anything done any time. There shouldn't be any affects because u r sick, you can get it done if requested
