Guilt can be a spiritual experience if it leads to change. The repentance process is just that - A PROCESS - it takes time, some things take days, weeks, months or even years to really overcome. Give yourself the time you need to really go through the process.

My first hint for you is to identify the situations or triggers in which you commit this sin. Every sin for every person has a circumstance where it can happen. Do everything you can to avoid that situation.

good luck.

For we all sin and fall short of the glory of God...

Keep repenting and praying for a renewed life, and God will grant you mercy through Christ. Have you ever read a book by St.Augustine called 'the Confessions' ? It's such a great book, and your post reminds me of it. Check it out ~ it was a blessing to me.

You are not a sinner because you commit sin. You commit sin because you are a sinner. It is part of our human nature. You will never be completely rid of sin until you die. However, God will always be there to forgive you.
