The living God is clear. It's the enemy that muddles things up.
There is only one path to the living God and it is through Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the father except through me.
John 10:10 The enemy comes to kill to steal and to destroy, but I have come to give you life and give it more abundantly. (That was Jesus speaking...)

No, they do not all come from the same source. Satan is author of all confusion.
To start with why don't you read "Who Is This Allah" by G. J. Moshay? It basically shares why the God of Islam isn't close to being the same as Christianity's God. It's impossible for them to come from the same source!
By the way, what makes you think they all come from one source? Is there a book or site that talks about that? I'm interested in seeing it.

>Why would a 'God' give conflicting messages to people??
Exactly, which is a very good sign that they're not all from one source.
UPDATE: ABY???? I noticed your nick now, I remember you from MB days (indeminish????) If you believe the message of muslims is in the quran and the message of christians are in the bible and they have an irreconcilable contradiction (Jesus is/isn't God), you have to believe either God was lying to one and not the other, or that the sources are different. If you believe man wrote both then we're probably too far away to even debate this. I think the Bible and quran were inspired by two different spirits, one holy the other unholy.

You are correct. You can also add the Baha'i Faith to that list, because we also believe in the Judeo-Christian-Muslim God.
Yes, you describe Progressive Revelation. God has always sent His Messengers to humanity on average every 1000 years or so. His Messengers reveal a new religious dispensation from God, as we need it. It's all one religion of God though, UNFOLDED OVER TIME.

Universalism is a dream a lot of people have. It falls apart very quickly when you see the messages are not the same. Why God gave the Truth to one religion over another is something we will have to ask Him a bout later.

The second question is a good one, but I dispute your first one.
There is not an intrinsic compatibility between Islam, Christianity and Judaism, but quite the reverse.
They cannot agree on the person, nature and significance of Jesus of Nazareth. And that's hardly a detail.
At the least, two of the faiths are seriously mistaken.

Yes, one God, one religion. you are right. Since everyone has a different body and mind, different types of religions are needed. Different religions exist because of disagreements based on these limited material conceptions and differences. But "the Absolute Truth is one, and when one is situated in the Absolute Truth, there is no disagreement.
Consequently on the absolute platform there is oneness in religion.

Sorry, Islam denies some basic tenets of the Book. This leads me to believe that it is indeed written by someone besides God. I suspect that Satan came to Mohammed as an angel of light, to deceive him and all others who will not accept the Truth of the Gospels.

Islam, Christianity and Judaism all have radically different beliefs. Judaism considers Jesus to be a heretic, Christianity to be God, and Islam to be a prophet.
Not all of these revelations are from God.

God never give conflicting message, Christians/Jews/Catholics are beleive in God of Abraham, Islam claim he beleive in God of Abraham/Allah but in Quran that are full of hate with other beleiver including Christians/Jews/Catholics. So that is simple answer, do you think muhamad are prophet from God of Abraham ???
Budhist and Hindhus beleive in many God, each God represent differently. But Only Islam that are full of hate, full of violent, full of discrimination again other beleiver.
Other than Islam are all about Love, Peace and forgiveness
