Last week, my crush and I were txting on the phone. I think he likes me, and I like him, but neither one of us has actually told the other about it. He likes to joke with me and talks about the two of us together. So, this night that we were txting, everything was fine until he made a joke about me (nothing mean about my appearance or anything like that) that got me angry. I told him in a txt message that I deserved more respect than what he had said and that he knew I was not like other girls at school that he could say things like that to. I sent the message to him, but after I did, I realized that it may have sounded a bit harsh; so to lighten it, I added "So ha!" in another message right after it. We kept txting for about another hour or so, but ever since then it's really hard to get him to txt me like he used to. At first I thought he just didn't like me anymore, but at school he still tries to flirt (alot) and be around me. He even knew about my birthday without me telling him.

For christ sake,
Texting???
If you want to communicate with the guy, TALK to him.
Stop texting, or instant messaging or any of that crap.
Even talking on the phone is better.
This modern era has taking the art of talking to one another face to face away from you kids.

Wow! he made the effort to find out about your birthday. Come on, you gotta give him some credit for that. Its a little difficult to answer why he doesn't text you the way he did cos i am not aware of what he had told you, however , maybe by you setting the record straight, he gained more respect for you therefore making what he says now different than before.

Stop the texting and emailing and phone conversations and spend some face time with the folks you are dating.
90% of all communication is non-verbal: the things people do says a whole lot more than that other crap. You are asking for this kind of trouble.

No, he probably admires you, and he may just be a little busier than he had been, or he may be trying to make his words seem nicer therefore it takes longer for him to text than usual. I don't think this is bad, since he still flirts with you and remembered your b-day...

Just be extra friendly from now on, if you really care. I think he's just a bit insecure now... a bit scared that he might offend you again like that by what he might thinks is cool or funny.

Dont worry...he just realised what he had done...and felt really bad.
He probably kinda scared or try not to offend you no more...that's why he avoid the text thing...rather than seeing you face to face instead, this way it's clearer and no misunderstanding.
