due to some unforeseen medical circumstances, i became behind in my credit card and I now owe just $600 but the thing is due to lack of payment or letting it go over the limit due to stupid fees, they revoked my card. I'm wanting to improve my credit and I was wondering if I paid this all off at one time, what shows on my credit report?

If these are the circumstances...how then...do you have $1000 for a down payment on a house? If you contact the credit card agency....there is a good chance they will "settle" for a lesser amount...will have a negative affect on your credit report, but so does not making the payments......better settle with them..and quit incurring additional fees...before you know it that $600 will be $2000 and you'll be getting sued.........you can work to improve your credit score in other ways.....

My wife and I paid off $10,000 worth of debt last year. It is not a get rich scheme, just a very well put together plan.

It will definitely look better if you paid it off now rather than not paying it of and just keep making payments. I would say if you can do it, pay it off!
