IM FLYING FOR THE FIRST TIME AND AM VERY NERVOUS. I HAVE LOST 87 POUNDS AND MY WIFE HAS SURPRISED ME WITH A TRIP TO FLORIDA. I DONT WANT TO BE MADE A SPECTICAL OF INFRONT OF MY KIDS. DID THAT LONG ENOUGH NOW. MY HEAVY AREA IS STOMACH. CAN SOMEONE HELP WITH ANSWERS. ALSO IS WEST JET A GOOD AIRLINE, WE CANT CHOOSE OUR SEATS BECAUSE ITS AN INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT. DO THE ARMRESTS GO UP ON ALL THE SEATS? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. PLEASE ONLY POLITE PEOPLE COMMENT. IVE HEARD ALL THE FAT JOKES ALREADY.

WestJet is one of my favorite airlines. They have great service and friendly customer staff. All of there arm rest go up on all of the seats. They have very comfortable seats. Not to mention there in flight entertainment with your on personal tv screen with live TV and movies. WestJet has All boeing 737 fleet, 737-600, 737-700, 737-800. Again, i love westjet they are awesome. hope you enjoy your vacation!

The only way you could really tell is to ask the airline what the seat width is on the type of aiplane you will be flying on and then measure how wide your rear end is... also, you could ask the airline if the armrests go up...

Fair question. Regardless of the answers you receive here, why not contact the airline and ask their opinion. Tell them that you're honestly concerned and I'm sure that they'll help out.

the seat width of west jet planes are 17.0" inches maybe that help a bit

it is the best airline i have flown on , check www.westjet.com or phone their 800 # ( sorry , don't know it offhand , should be on their site ) congrats on the weight loss , keep it up . P.S. your caps. lock is on .
