The bible tells us to look up unto heaven. If there was a visual cue, people would still not believe it. Jesus did not always perform miracles because he knew people will not believe even if the evidence is right in front of him. It takes faith. Heaven is a spiritual place where there is no suffering, pain or sorrow.

The Bible defines several Heavens. The birds fly in one of them (the sky). The planets orbit in one (Solar space). The stars exist in one (the galaxy, maybe the universe). Psychics and others identify higher 'frequencies' of existence, which could well be yet another Heaven. And of course, there's the Throne of God, which is probably what you're talking about. That's apparently in the New Jerusalem, a Borg-like cube travelling through space as we speak, which a number of astronomers are indeed looking for. But it's only a mile across, and so not too easy to spot.

Let's see if I got this right. Are you saying that if I happen to believe in fairy tales, astronomers will find Heaven? I don't see how my belief in fairy tales would help the astronomers!

I don't understand. You seem to be saying that if I believe in fairy tales, astronomers will find heaven. I don't see the connection.

Perhaps you have never read the Bible.
You may have and missed this.
There are three heavens.
The sky above us.
Outer space.
The place where God lives.
Perhaps the third is a dimension not an actual tangible thing like the first two.
Think about it...

Heaven is not a place in this universe. It exists in a different dimensionality. It is also not where God lives because God created heaven. Only a simple mind would try to use a teliscope to see heaven.

In the minds of people who believe in fairy tales.

The bible says (Revelations) that it will be established here on Earth.

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

You are correct. Astronomers know very little of our Universe. So how can they find God?

Maybe it is in one of those other dimensions astronomers are always talking about or inside a black hole or something.
