It seems like we cover the same thing over and over and the end result is always about the almighty $... I for one am sick and tired of the $ being the excuse for not doing something. It's not about the money people and it's not about your fricken Escalade in the drive either... The Question I have is why does everyone fall back on the cost of environmentaly benificial actions (in $'s ) then run out and buy a happy meal and a Tahoe? If money is that big of an issue the we are screwed. Personaly I think it's a small price to pay to be healthy and have a beautiful world (not a landfill) to live on.

william--- You sound alittle bitter. like you wish you were a tree cause you havent had your hug today. Look it's not about Socialism if it were I would be living in a commune singing Kumbiya with fellow enviromentalists or as you call em "Greenies" Quite frankly I find it appalling that you would put more value in your thin wallet than you do in your own community. Pollution is a problem, plain and simple. We have to look at it every day. Do you enjoy it? I don't. But hey keep eating your Happy meal and driving your Tahoe. when it runs out of Gas don't blame us we tried to tell you.

Exactly, which is why it annoys the crap out of me to hear people complain about taxes. You hear "I can't afford to buy food for my family, yet the govt is taxing my hard earned money for social programs and health care"....now that its tax time I hear people asking "what should I spend my tax refund on, a new 50' t.v or a coach purse?" How about the food you said you couldn't afford to buy!!

Because MONEY TALKS and ECO-BULL$H!T walks.

Plain and simple. I really wish that environmentalists would take some science classes. Then take statistics. THEN take macro and microeconomics. They might learn that most of the greenie stuff they've been spoon-fed is about Socialism, not saving the planet.
