I'd like to know how and where I can go to get tested for STDs. (I'm virgin but I'd like to try it out to prove to my dates that I am clean) I'd also appreciate details of the process it takes and the costs.

You can go to a local health clinic or to a hospital's emergency room.I am not so sure on how much it may cost you.Some health clinics do a free test.If you get tested for STDs,it will come out negative because you are still a virgin.I do know the details though.I hope that you don't have a weak stomach.What they do is take a long cotton like swab and stick into your urethra.(that small hole in the head of you penis.)They swirl it around a couple of times and they put it into a specimen bag.And they send it out to a lab for analysis.Hope that I helped.And they can also do a blood test if you are not comfortable with the other option .

There are free cliniques that you can go to. Sign up anonymously, as your test results can go into insurance files (even if it comes out negative, it can have adverse consequences). You simply get a number instead of using your name.
They usually take you into a room for a few minutes, see what your feelings are and how you would deal with the disease should you ever contract it.
Then, they draw your blood. Go back/call back a week later to get your results. Be sure to keep your number, as you cannot get your results without it... unless of course you use your name.
