i go to a way clicky school. im a cheerleader and the cheerleaders are soposed to go out with the varsity football players. since im the captin im soposed to go out with the captin of the varsity football team but i realy dont like him what so ever. he never thinks of anyone but himself. lately i got a huge crush on the second string cb on the jv team hes the same age as me hes just not very good at football but hes totaly sweet and funny and both of these guys asked me out to our formal which is a huge deal at or school what should i do

look this aint russa girl, go with who you think the most of and will have fun with. i would take the guy you like to the formal.
why would you take someone yuo don't like?
i say go out with the sweet and funny guy,
and you may start a new trend at your school.
even if your friends dont approve, who cares?
tell them that you have the right to pick anyone you want.
maybe the jv team will become really popular!

Ask yourself this. Who is the one dating this other person? You? Or everyone else? If you don't like this guy you are "supposed" to date (according to everyone else) Who is the one who is going to be unhappy? Would you rather be in a relationship with someone you actually like and make yourself happy, or date someone you can't stand just to make everyone else happy and remain popular? Believe me, once you leave school it won't matter how popular you were.

Pick the one you have feelings for and the one you are going to be happy with. There is no sense in leading someone on who you only like because you are supposed to.
