Bound's hubby here:
Virtually all NEW guns come with an owner's manual. Unfortunately, they tend to disappear with used guns. However, if you have little or no experience with guns, you should consider contacting you local gun club and enroll in either a hunter's safety or gun safety class!
Good luck!

A great way to build your firearm library is by going to your local Gun Show, there will be vender's that will have rare & out of print books and your latest books that you may find interesting. If that don't work for ya try looking for the same books on eBay (I have) because you'll find new and used book also. The only draw-back on eBay is that if you don't always know a title you could spend a hole lot of time there searching, as at the Gun Show it's a hands on. I hope this information will become useful, good luck.

I have been able to download the manual for most guns, from the manufacturer. Those that cannot be downloaded usually have the information you need to obtain a printed copy. If you cannot find the manufacturer, the gun may be a copy of an existing design from one of the major manufacturers. In that way you can obtain information about gun, or type of gun it is. Gun/hunter safety courses are a good way to learn about guns and meet people with interest in them.

I agree with Hubby of Bound. New guns should have a users manual and a safety guide. Almost all used guns have a manual online at the manufacturer's website.
If you are not familiar with guns, ALWAYS take a gun safety class and get used to the feel of if at a local firing range.

Yes, it will come with a guide if you buy a new gun.
For the most part loading and firing your gun is straightforward but you will need a guide for disassembly and cleaning.

You should take a course if you don't know or go to a shooting range and get instructions. New guns come with manuals.

Ask for an owner's manuel. One more suggestion, take a gun safety course before using your gun. Don't just depend on the owner's manuel.

If it's new in the box, yes, but I'd still find a mentor. You'll find the hunting fraternity is full of people who'll be happy to help you get started.

If you can't get instruction don't buy a gun that you can't use.
