I wish I could show the WORLD, the picture I took of this little girl, 5 then, whose mother was murderred by a gang in Honduras, AND SHE LIVES IN A HUT with a DIRT FLOOR AND NOW PLUMBING!! Her grandmother is raising her now, on about $2/day income. Should I just SHUT UP being too helpless myself, to do anything about it? I can't get the girl off my mind.

I dont know if you actually know the girl or if you just saw her passing by, but have you considered sending her some money monthly?

Also, i dont know anything about Honduras or what part she lived in, but you gotta remember that some people live in very rural areas where there just isnt the infrastructure to support plumbing. There's even places in the USA where people dont have plumbing. Oprah herself grew up in a house with no running water.
