My girlfriend and I live together and thinks its rude/wrong of me to have desktop wallpaper or screensavers of other women (celebrities, models, etc.) I think she is just being insecure. Your opinions?

I dont think its wrong at all!!! Its no different than checking out a good looking person when your in public.... which im sure your g/f does it just natural!!! I have hott men on my screensaver and my man doesnt care!!! And neither do I about what he puts on his screen!!! That just being insecure!!! Shes got to understand just because you want some hott chic on your screen doesnt mean your any less interested in her!!! She should secure with herself.... and quit worring about little things

It's not "wrong" to have these pictures, but it is really inconsiderate. These scantily clad models are sexual eye candy for you, and your dedicated interest in them speaks louder than your words.
Also, since you live together, you share the space, and you both have the right to express your dislike of the other's decorating choices (ie, if she put up posters of things that made you uncomfortable, like fluffy kittens wearing costumes or hot men wearing practically nothing, then you would have the right to request a change to something you could both enjoy).
If you really love your girlfriend so much, you'll consider her feelings, and ask yourself how your actions affect her insecurity. Why not change your screensaver to pictures of the two of you? Better yet, ask your girlfriend to take some cute, slightly sexy pictures to replace the models. That will reassure her that you'd rather look at her body than even the most attractive model.

I agree with her. It is disrespectful.
What woman wants to know you would prefer staring at some other hot woman all day? Personally I think it causes insecurity.
Put up a picture of your car or your dog.....
I guess you don't care if she has David Beckham wallpaper? I know guys are like that......

Hi! Yes I think that's rude, she is your girl so why do you need other pictures of other woman come on now. Don't you love her? If so give her the respect. She needs to know that she is the most beautiful woman in your life and I'm sure that's how you think of her but she needs to know that with the actions that you show her. I know I don't like it, it's pretty frustrating.

I think it is very disrespectful to your girlfriend. and of course if you have some super model in her face every time she uses the computer it is going to make her feel insecure. I know it would make me feel like i am not really what he wants if he could he would go after that in a heart beat............

i agree w your girlfriend. change the screensaver, its no big deal for you and she will be happy.
its just a girls' thing dont ask too many questions or try to understand it, just change the screensaver, she will respect you for that attitude. say"it doesnt mean anything to me, but i understand it bothers you, so i will replace it" and thats it, end of discussion!

Well i cant say its the best thing to do, but being that there celebs or models, im pretty sure ur not going to run off and cheat on her with them so i wouldnt worry if i was her.

i dont see anything wrong with it,
but if she's uncomfortable with it,
i would get rid of the screensavers;
if you really love her that much which i think you do since you moved in with her and all.
couldn't you just do this little thing for her?

I don't know. maybe it's insecurity but I guess if they're clothed fine but I think you should change it anyway cause us women are sort of weird about things like that! My stepmom goes WAY OVER WEIRD! She is the crazy bout that! that's why my sister and I don't really see my dad a lot!
ps:isn't that weird that she is jealous of her own step daughters?

That is pretty rude of you bacause, she expects to be the only girl in your life. But when you have other pictures of women around you she might feel like she's not you number one choice. :)
