k this may seem like a weird question but i really need answers. My friend had an accident with dolphins, he was in hawaii and he did some illegal drug use and he then went swimming. He was in the ocean when he met dolphin friends and he decided "Hey im going to swim with you guys if you dont mind!" HE wASNT HALLUCINATING! anyways after that day he said he always sees dolphins when he gets 'high' is that possible? like does your brain always go bac and see things you once saw when you were the highest youve ever been?

It's called a flashback, and it can be triggered by just about anything, especially more drug use. I haven't heard of many cases where it always happens, like with your friend, but I guess it's possible if he took enough of whatever it was. I would suggest having him see a drug specialist or psycologist, because this problem is going to follow him forever. Also, lay off the friggin drugs!!! I also suspect that there is a bit of embellishing going on here. Meaning; I think he's lying sometimes about seeing things in order to get attention. (Dolphins+vulnerable male = chicks.)

Well i used to smoke trees and yes your memory becomes a lot more worse for an everyday smoker. It was affecting me in my everyday life. I always forgeting things. Now there were times when i would have a good laugh when I was smoking it just because of all the past things. So yeah its possible. Tell him to stop smoking that mess only makes your brain weaker and dumber.

Well, when you do drugs and depending on the type of drugs it all kicks at your brain period, drugs kill brain cell's and some people end up needing help for the rest of their lives or end up living in a residence because of damage caused by drugs.

Drugs do affect memory loss!!! But even though smoking pot is not good for anyone (and illegal), it should not cause flashbacks. If he is on a heavier drug this could be the cause. Maybe he is just messing with you .

wow ... ur friend sounds kind of looney there girly. although marijuana does affect the memory - its not a hallucinagin(sp?) so to be honest - i think your friend is pulling your leg ... unless he's like on sherm or something ...
