I need help downloading images?

I used to be able to open images and pictures from my emails using microsoft. But I recently bought a digital camera and downloaded the disk. Now whenever I get pictures or file it says kodak cannot find it, that it was renamed or moved my the computer. How can I get my files and pictures to open with microsoft again?

You need to right-click on the picture you want to open.

Hover the cursor over "Open With" and a side window should open up.

Left-click on "Choose Program".

A new window will open up for you.

Left-click on the program you want to open your picture with again (usually Microsoft Picture and Fax Viewer) BUT make
sure you have checked the box "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".

Then click on OK and you should have re-associated that kind of graphics file with the program you always want to open them with.

Hi, one thing that I found out was never ever use the disks you get with the cameras!! There are 2 ways to do this. One open up the Kodak file and un-check use Kodak as default to open image files. The harder way is to open up windows explorer and hit the Tools header and then click folder options, go to file types, may take a bit and scroll down to .jpg and highlight it and hit the change button then pick Window viewer and click ok.

You need to go into your windows folder options are reassociate the file extensions with the Kodak viewer. You can also just open Kodak viewer and sue the file-->open to open whatever files you want. I would go with a better program like Irfanview though. Much more powerful than the Kodak viewer and is FREE. Hope this helps.
