Why does my girlfriend still try to make her ex angry?

We have been together for 5 months and she still trys to do little things to make him angry. I don't understand why she just doesn't forget about him and leave him alone. I have girls do this to me before and I didn't understand it then either

Firstly you never dump a girl via text, that wouldnt make you feel good either. It is hurtful that you go and date another straight away. I dont know how old you are but you sound young and immature so this is all part of the learning process. I think you should have been upfront and honest with her. She has a right to be upset or angry with you but over time she will move on....if you didnt still care about her you would not be on here asking questions......have you made a mistake?

She still harbors anger at him for whatever reason. She isnt over him.
