You obviously don't love him enough to spend the rest of your life with him, so it's probably time to move on.

wow, a lot of people's answers just tell you to split up with this guy and move on.
I don't get the impression that he mistreats you anyway, and you obviously love him.
I can relate, because I am alot like him, I like to stay home and mind my own business, much to my wife's disappointment.
This is what we do.
We set up at least 2 nights a month (sometimes more, but at least every other weekend) and we go out and do something.
Out to eat is a must, but then we catch movies, go camping, attend some kind of events, just get out for a day or a night or both to see and do things. I like football, my wife hates it.
But, she goes to football games with me because we get to go out together and she likes to be around all the people, we have a blast.
We don't go out to bars or clubs, it is just not our style, but we have been married for 18 years, so we let the young people hang at the bars.
Maybe plan a trip once a year and make it a house law.
Every year go somewhere you haven't been, doesnt have to be around the world, but just someplace you haven't seen.
You may have to persuade him, but you know what he likes and dislikes and how to get him going in the fun direction.
After he has had fun going out, he will look forward to it every time and progressively want more, trust me, I know lol.
You don't have to give up on the relationship if you really love him, just talk to him, tell him you want to be more active and run some of these ideas past him.
Relationships are about compramise, and if he has some intelligence he knows that.
Good luck, hope this helps.

You can only decide.
Love him than keep him . If other thing are more important then leave him.
But good guy are hard to find, does he go to work regularly and makes good money may be he is laid back, or after hard work he has no energy.
When you do not do certain things you can save money for other things like a house down payment or a car payment, if you are 25 years old, 2 year is a long time.

Yeah, basically what you're saying is you want him to either poop or get off the pot. You're going in one direction and he in another and your twains are not meeting. You have to work too hard just to get him to something that you want to do. Then you feel bad because it wasn't something of his choice. He loves the hell out of back rubs, massages and such but is not very forthcoming on reciprocating. All of this for the past two years. Now I ask you do you really see anything changing in another two years?
Tell him there's a life out there and you want to experience all it has to offer. You don't expect him to get on the roller coaster with you but you just can't sit and vegetate your life away. Kiss him, tell him you love but you've got to go. And then do so. Good luck

He seems like the lazy type. I understand that you love him and all. But I would end it. I mean he seems to like his games and etc. more than you. I would stay single for a while. Hang out with your friends. Have a little fun. I mean it wont last forever. If your not happy he probally isn't either. Maybe you both think the same? Really hard.. I hope you decide whats best for you.

In life there are situations where you need to prioritise your goals, dreams, wishes etc. You are best to acknowledge these aspirations before you lose desire etc for your partner. I have been down this track with my previous partner who I accidebtally feel pregnant to and it has just created misery for everyone. He is who he is, and if you cannot accept and appreciate him as he is then to be fair on you both it may be time to end it. Resentment NEVER goes away it simmers inside you all the time so don't let your relationship reach that point!

You can love him but you are getting bored and eventually you will stop loving him. When you both dont like the same things is really hard to have fun. You should be with someone that likes the same things as you do. I think its a good idea to split with him.

I was n the same exact situation w/ my now fiance. U need 2 tell him exactly how u feel, because he might not even know that's wat he's doing & if he cares about u the way u care about him, then he will b willing 2 change. But if he doesn't change then mayb the best thing 4 u 2 do is move on, it's not fun being w/ some1 who is not advanturous or spontanous. This is why sum ppl cheat, they find sum1 who can do things their partner can't and/or won't do. Remember communicate....GOOD LUCK!!!

if he isnt filling in your needs i wouldn't stay with him, obveously he isnt makeing you happy, not trying to sound liike a brat i am only 13 but you need someone that will never get old of those little things you do, he makes you smile, you laugh at the same things, and you guys always think about eachother. you should get the right feeling when u r around him, i wouldn't blame you if you had dumped him a long time ago.

It sounds like you do still love him a lot.
You've got to think of pros and cons of staying with him and leaving him. If you stay with him will you end up being bored for the rest of your life but you will no you are in a stable relationship. Or do you leave him so you can do your own thing without soneone tying you down.
You've got to ask your self what you will end up regretting more......leaving him or not leaving him.

Talk to him. Put your cards on the table. You will be surprised. all you know he may be unaware of what you are going through and considering the amount you do for him, he would be willing to sit with you and decide what fun things he can do with you to keep you happy too in the relationship. For a successful relationship, it is give and take not just give give give or take take take.
All the best.
