He's a romantic and very sweet. He surprised me with dinner overlooking the ocean and then took me to the beach where his freinds had set up a blankets, rose petals, roses and tiki torches, where he told me he loved me. I want to surprise him with something cute like that for when he gets back from being gone for a week up north for work... ideas? (we live in san diego) but we are under the age of 21.

Why not make him dinner? You could suprise him with a homemade meal (whatever's his favorite). If you have nice weather, you could pack a picnic or find a nearby park and just walking for the day, enjoying the scenery. If he's a sports fan, you could suprise him with a trip to the batting cages or a golf course. Even if you aren't any good at it, you'll have fun learning and he'll appreciate you trying. If he's a big fan of music, find a local concert to take him to. And one sure-fire bet that's guaranteed to make anyone smile is a night at a comedy club. Find one in the area and if you're low on cash, the amatuer nights are usually cheaper than big-named shows, and they're always a lot of fun.

well everyone is saying SEX. I say that was happening already so what so surprise about that? Unless you have not done nothing with him in a while but if so that is no surprise but a brake up. But anyway, the answers is easy....what every he likes.....double it...not sex ....but if he is a drinker rent a club room and invite his friends....if he is a online game player buy a game you know he will like....if he is movie lover get free movie pass. well you get me. I mean I do that alot but it never gets old for me.
Maybe a romantic movie?
Maybe you can make a big move on him while your there.

well i think it'd be a good idea at home if you cooked him a nice meal at home. i have a couple recipes you could use if you want. after you guys eat dinner, pop in a couple movies that you both enjoy.
