Jerusalem is considered a holy city to Jews, Muslims, and Christians alike. The city is important to Christians and Jews because many important biblical events are said to have taken place in Jerusalem (both religions believe the Old Testament). Jerusalem is also mentioned in the Torah, which is an important Jewish text. Christians believe Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem. Muslims believe that the Prophet Mohammed visited Jerusalem, which is why it has importance to them as well.

Generally, that'd be Jerusalem. Although the Muslims hold the Dome of the Rock mostly just to deprive the Jews of their Temple Site. It was built there deliberately for that purpose. That being the case, is there any good reason for allowing it to stand?

Muslims stole Jerusalem, killed Jews and built their Mosque on the site of the Jewish Temple. It's time for the Jews to take back their city and build their temple.

Jerusalem is not holy for Muslims. Why else is it NEVER mentioned in the Koran?

Jerusalem is mentioned hundreds of times in the Tanach (Old Testament).
