Honey I've seen that too,
It's a hell of a shock,
I saw a woman run over by 3 cars and they just left her,
Even now a year on I still get flashbacks, especially since I just passed my driving test,
You have to go through the motions,
If you feel like crying then do it,
My GP after the hit and run put me on tranquilisers, maybe you should see your GP,
I know how you feel,
The lass I saw ended up with her head not attached
E-mail me if you need to talk

this could be post dramatic stress disorder. It's not uncommon for the first few times you see a real graphic image. You should actually be releaved because it's completely normal. Too often people these days have seen too much via TV and video games to have such images actually bother them. First thing is to calm down. You may find yourself better able to cope as time goes on. If you can't stop thinking about it and get depressed or have mood swings you may need to talk it out with a counselor.

You will need to talk to someone about this , It will take some time that is not a nice experience there was nothing you could do to avoid the accident ,do you know did the guy die from his injuries or was he badly hurt ,if the car was speeding it doesnt look good . All you can do is go to the police and say what you saw then you will be doing your civic duty . and the images will fade in time .good luck

The image will go away in time. You did not cause it to happen and things like that happen all the time. I'm sorry you witnessed it but it will go away by it's self. It will come back from time to time but not as bad. I watched 8 people get blown up with 22 pounds of C4 high explosive and the image faded away in time. Try to relax. Do not drink to get rid of the image as that only makes it worse.

just give it some time. There's really nothing you can do. Although my words are not at all that comforting, only time will help you forget. Try talking to someone about it, that always helps..how long ago was it? if after a while you still keep on remembering the event you might want to talk to counselor. Take the time to appreciate what life has given you.

Oh Babe. See your G.P and get some advice. I saw a girlfriend get hit by a car on the way home from school 20 years ago and it does stick in the memory. It gets better, trust me. I'm just sorry you had to witness it. Sleep Well tonight if you can.

Go play with your nephew or niece. Do a good deed, or give to charity. Talk to God. Do something to remind yourself of the beauty of life and the grand design over it all. It won't take long for the images to fade, it's just that you're in shock now and it's normal.

Life goes on, Chief! You're probably gonna see, far more than that, in your Lifetime. Just push on? And learn how they did it? And what you can do, to prevent others from meeting the same fate. Good Question. I do wish you the Best. Time heals,...and all of that stuff, you know?

You poor thing! I think you should talk to someone. Realistically there is nothing you can do, I'm afraid you'll just have to get on with your life.Watching something like that will leave you emotionally scared for life that why i think you should see a shrink.
I hope you'll feel better soon.

I feel so bad for you. This will pass with time. The more you concentrate on even writing about it the more you will attach yourself to this. Where and when did this happen because I heard nothing about it. If it happened just today give yourself a break it is fresh and new to you.
