There are many like that... my personal favorite was and Evangelist David Paul.... he was in Indianapolis almost 20 years ago... my mom made me go.... long story short, I think he forgot where his "plants" were seated because he called up a woman on a walker... and after getting her to confess that she wanted to be healed, he snatched her walker away from her and... SPLAT!!! Yeah.... I got in trouble for laughing...
Do I believe it is possible for people to receive divine healing??? Absolutely... but I am also quite certain it does not involve all that fanfair.

Yeah, everything that happens at his crusades are real. I've been to see him several times and the last time I went me and my sister and brother and cousin and I and about 2000 other people fell under the power of God and I can't even describe what it feels like to be under the power of God so powerfully! Our hands began to burn and we could literally feel the fire of the Holy Spirit burning in our hands and I knew that anyone who I touched would be healed! It was that powerful!!

The presents of the spirit are unlike magic wands. He makes use of his presents in the event you will trust in reality and love God with all their hearts. He did not remedy the individuals of AIDS. God did and he will be happy to allow you to comprehend that. He has more suitable than one or 2 presents of therapeutic at his disposal. Many were healed of spinal wire issues who were in extreme soreness. i'm getting mail from him for all time. He not at all says one incorrect be conscious. he's particularly on the point of God. The devil has attacked him a lot in a great number of recommendations regardless of if he has been very obedient to the Lord, and he maintains on serving the Lord even notwithstanding the IRS took thousands of thousands of money from him to omit his expenses. He not at all did a element incorrect yet became falsely accused many circumstances. I went to at least one among his amenities and an angel observed me to get there and locate a seat and get decrease back to my vehicle appropriately. It became impressive.

I think this will be the last time I waste my time trying to defend him on Yahoo answers. I've been slain in the spirit (okay I haven't wiggled), so I know this really happens. I have no doubt he's legit, especially when you see some of the mighty men and women of God who associate with him (todd bentley, mahesh & bonnie chavda, john paul jackson, john francis to name just a handful of my faves). Christians who don't like him, for your own good find a way to agree to disagree. I learned the hard way that God will hold you to account for bashing his servants you don't happen to like (with me it was the word of faith movement).

He is one of the false ones.
There are quite a few around.
Kind of interesting that he took the name of a very bad place.
Perhaps it was a clue from God.
2 Chr 28:3 Moreover, he burned incense in the valley of Ben-hinnom, and burned his sons in fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD had driven out before the sons of Israel.
2 Chr 33:6 And he made his sons pass through the fire in the valley of Ben-hinnom; and he practiced witchcraft, used divination, practiced sorcery, and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger.
Interesting don't you think?

It is hard to believe how desperate people can be, but when you consider the cost of medical care and how often doctors tell you that they don't know whats wrong with you, it seems a little more comprehensible that people would grasp at whatever they could if it might make thm feel better again.

Sadly, there are several hundred thousands of people out there that have false hope in him to heal them. He is not a prophet nor a healer of God. He is part of the Word of Faith movement which has ties to metaphysical cults as it's foundation.
They seem to be Christians on the outside, but their beliefs are ridiculous! He completely contradicts himself on a daily basis, he has openly admitted that he does not preach Jesus and that he is using money poorly to purchase things such as private jets, luxurious hotel rooms, suits, cars and homes ~ but people keep feeding him money.
One day he will face the judgment seat of God and will be held accountable for all of these innocent afflicted people that he is leading astray.

I don't watch Benny Hinn, and would not recommend him to someone searching out Christianity.

Weeeellll...I will just say this..I KNOW I am a Christan...and NOBODY is going to knock me over...unless it really is God.
Camera's. ....We have to be very careful of who or what we believe..that's why I follow the bible...I go to church..but I even check my on Pastor with the word of God.
In the Bible there is a story about a man that wouldn't listen to God....so God used his{ jackass} donkey to speak...and you know what that man listened then...
Moral of this story...
God even used a Donkey to speak.
LISTEN to the words the man is saying...because God will even use a false prophet to reach that one....who is really seeking God.
He did it for me.
I really don't care for those TV people...but God can use them.

I prefer Benny Hill.
Less religion means fewer lies and less fraud.
Besides Benny Hill always had large breasted women on his show.
