You probably mean the cold, as a flu is more serious. But the bad news is you can't fix it. A cold/flu is your body repaieing itself. You need to REST, drink lots of water and eat healthy. The only way to prevent it happening again is by eating a nutrition packed diet. People don't realise If you have a cold it means there is something wrong with your immune system. If you eat a vitamin rich diet of fruits and vegetables than you won't ever get sick!

If you have influenza-type flu (cough, headache, fever, congestion, sometimes vomiting), you can get antiviral medication for it. This usually makes you feel better pretty fast. However, the medications themselves can make you feel a little sick to the stomach as well. You need to get diagnosed by a doctor using a flu screen first.

you don't. simple as that. the virus is going to run it's course and that is at least two weeks. You can however combat the symptoms, use Zicam nasal swabs, take tylenol for fever, drink lots of fluids and get plenty of rest.

I find that some spicy foods are good to alleviate certain symptoms.
