. My five year old cat, Scarlett, will eat a rubber band whenever she can locate one (even though I do my best to keep them out of sight) and, so far, has shown no ill effects. Your cat is probably fine but if you don't see the rubber band in your cat's litter box after a day or two, check with your vet. It's always better to be safe than sorry!

Like most of the answers on here I say take him to the vet. Rubber bands are dangerous to cats and those who say otherwise have just been lucky. If he's not eating, vomiting or going to the bathroom those are all signs that something is wrong. The vet will probably do a barium series with x-rays so they can see if there is a blockage(full or partial) and to decide the best course of action to take on getting him to either pass it or for them to remove it.

As long as she has passed it, I would say she is fine. Really be very careful, with them. Some people let their cats play with the rubber bands, and I don"t know why, I think they are too dangerous.

She should be just fine.
Over the next few days (2-3) pay close attention to make sure that:
she drinks normally
she "goes" normally
she does not vomit or have loose bowel movements
Any unusual behaviour (suddenly lazy, sunken eyes, nose discharge etc.)
If the above signs arise, take her to your vet but I really think she should be fine now.

she should be fine.. did you see her eat the rubber band.... i would consider taking her to the vet.. if she ate a rubber band she could have possibly ate something else too.. you have to be careful with things like that they can obstruct the intestines.. and depending on what they eat... it can puncture organs

i think your cat should be ok, but talk to your vet just in case the whole rubberband didn't come out.
