in case you check out the backside of the ice cream kit there could be a date printed that shows the day it replaced into produced. No it won't make you sick. Just taste it, if the texture and the taste are acceptable, eat it! Expiration dates are for people who have no mind. Trust your own senses. Even if it is bad the little taste you ingest could never harm you!

It will taste like crap, it will smell like crap or freezer burn, take your pick. If it's been in the freezer for more than a couple of weeks, it's not going to taste good anyway.

It wont be the same color it was when first opened. it will probably be freezer burnt ( ice Cristal's every were.)
