I picked up a bottle when I was honeymooning in St. Kitts, but now I don't know what to do with it. Thanks for any suggestions!

no, it's not brinley gold rum. it is an alcohol made from sugar cane. the bottle just says - CSR Cane Spirit Rothschild from the Baron Edmond distillery and it's completely clear in color. would the same drinks still work? thanks!

is this the brinley gold rum (either vanilla or coconut essence) that comes from the cane spirit rothschild distillery?

if so, you can treat it as a fabulous white rum in any drink recipe that calls for rum.

but here are a couple of brinley specific recipes:

Brinley Gold on the Rocks: Brinley Gold Vanilla rum on Ice.

Brinley Buzz: 1 part vanilla rum, 2 parts coffee.

Brinley Breeze: 1 part vanilla rum, 2 parts orange or pineapple juice.

BG Cream Soda: 1 part vanilla rum, 2 parts soda water.

BG Caribbean Tea: 1 part vanilla rum, 1 part cola, 1 part pineapple juice, and serve with Ice and a Lime.

BG Double V: Brinley Gold Vanilla rum poured over vanilla ice cream.
