I think they just need to make sure that their not on their own in certain things, as is the case in many topics. But i don't think that anyone actuallly takes notice of anything they dont want to hear, so in a way your right they just want to confirm what they already belief.

I think there's 4 reasons ppl come to this section.
1) Spread their own belief
2) Reaffirm their own
3) Bash someone else's belief
4) Some people might actually come here looking for answers... crazy thought

Everybody uses this site for different things. Some use this forum as a place to learn about different things. Some use this forum to mock others. Some use this forum to convert and deconvert people to and from religion. It depends on each and every different indvidual as every case is different.

I think people come for genuine answers to real questions. Other people come here just to screw around and be funny. Other people come here to hurt other people. Other people come here because they cant talk to others in person. Some people come here because they are lonely. People come here for a zillion reasons, confirmation of believe being one reason of many.

That may be true for some but I've actually asked some real life questions and have had some awesome people respond with great answers and solutions....

No, people are here for different reasons. I love to learn. I also like to share my faith where I can. And the spread Gospel, the good news that God loves us. It is a community thing, like a church.

No, although for some that may be the case, but there are plenty of honest people-don't let the dishonest get you making generalizations.

of coarse not we are answering other peoples questions and being bombarded with all religions. If you don't like it write Yahoo and tell them to make separate categories for all religions.
If you are offended that means your scared and if there is no God then what do you have to be offended about or scared of

I like to come here to see what people who believe like I do are saying and also to see how others who don't believe like me view people who believe like me.
Wow, that made sense in my head but not so much when I'm reading it. Basically, I like to see other points of views and that is why I like this forum.
