The addiction itself is a sickness, but the acts on the addiction are a sin. (Although, Lust is one of the seven deadly sins, so it could be a sin in that since too.)

if anyone is addicted to sex with the person they love, is neither an addiction or sin, and is just an enjoyable part of normal human behaviour.
