Many here are telling you to choose your religion based on what you already believe and what fits that. There is a truth that transcends what we think though. Hindus believe people are poor because of Kharma punishing them for their past life. That isn't true and leads the Dalits or Untouchables to be spat on and cursed. Muslims believe men can marry four women at a time and this includes six year old girls becuase Mohammed's second wife Aisha was six. They also praise this man who slaughtered every Jewish tribe on the Arabian Penninsula during his lifetime, robbed caravans and took sex slaves from his enemies. Buddhism seeks to end pain by ignoring the world and having no attachments but this leads you to be a cold and uneffective person. Look at Christianity. Violence has been done in its name but its teachings are to love your enemies and your neighbor. It grants you freedom of thought and freedom from guilt as all of your sins are washed away. I have searched through all these faiths before choosing and this is the only one that has it all and rings true.

The best religion is the one that ask that you love god and your fellowman and treat others as you would wish to be treated. religion doesn't have a name per-say. Faith is a feeling, an emotion. god dwells in the heart of the one that loves him unconditionally, not in a church, a religion, or a faith...god loves all he created from the smallest to the largest....

a close look to every religion gives u the idae of a common background to all of them.
to me faith is a personal matter,i happen to believe that god wants everyman to be a believer by his own terms i don't mean by that making your own religion, but i mean that u should decide the lines u can't cross in your own life, abd about worship, any relationship you make with god is between you tow and can never be taught, this should be ur pray.

There is no 'best' religion. There is only the belief system that best fits the individual.

I believe that Jesus came down here to free us from religions. He wanted to teach us to have a personal relationship with God. And to teach us to love and serve one another. That is why I follow Him and not any religion.
