There is no point focusing on the past. If you haven't already, schedule an appointment with your OBGYN; they'll want to see you as soon as possible if you are 8 weeks or more along. Explain to your doctor frankly everything, and see what they say. You can't change what you have already done, but you can get the best prenatal care you possibly can!

A lot of women have been in your situation. The bottom line is that you will not know if your birthcontrol and alcohol consumption has affected the child until he/she is older.

"It is what it is and there is no point worrying about it."

Do what you can now to ensure the baby will be in the best health he.she can be and don't worry so much about what has already been done. I've cared for children with fetal alcohol syndrom from mothers who drank for thier entire pregnancy. Those children were just slightly "slower" than the average. I'm sure your child will be fine.

Yea, there probably is a lot of risk, I suggest you go see your doctor to see if you can save this baby, or if it will be a stillborn, if it is, I am really sorry..
