Have you tried cheese and potato pie with some onion mixed in then sprinkle cheese on top and put it in the oven until the cheese is crispy

BPudding in mash was popular in lancashire, England, back in the days of the mill workers, however most restaurants do not use it as it looks are disfunctional on the plate.
You may like to try, wholegrain mustard, garlic and parsley, neeps or watercress as an alternative to put into mash.
Although you could try anything as mash is such a versatile ingredient.

Mash with swede, it is lovely with plenty of better and a drop of milk!
Nice also when boiled with a few cloves of garlic, remove garlic and add chopped parsley!
don't fancy the BP tho! sounds gross!

oh wow yeah...while i became interior the lakes some weeks ag they made their own advert it became stunning...alot diverse from the processed property you get interior the department shops...i like it with daddys brown sauce on it....
