Suppose that there exists One Supreme Being. You can call this being YHWH, Allah, God, Brahma, whatever you like. Suppose that this one being exists. Now, suppose they revealed themselves to you and declared themselves the Supreme Being, Creator of All, etc.
My question: How would you know if they were? What would they have to do to "prove" it to you? Walk on water? Teleport? Tell you the most intimate details of your life that no one else but you and this being could possibly know?
This question, I think, is relevant to everyone. It's not a "Christian" or "Muslim" or anything like that, question. It's a personal question about how you see your own beliefs.
BTW, my question is motivated in part by Arthur C. Clarke's quote, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Though it pertains to magic, it can also pertain IMO to any supernatural phenomena.

Rainy and Soychuleta (and others): If a being appeared to you and controlled your mind through an advanced technology, would that make that being Supreme?

Soychuleta: I don't think Clarke's comment is irrelevant. The implication of your statement is that we are somehow immune to being "fooled." I don't think that's true at all. We are certainly more technologically advanced than before, but that doesn't mean that even MORE advanced technology cannot fool us. (see my above detail for an example).
