The Bible would seem to indicate it:

Ecclesiastes 9:5: "5 For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten."

Ah, no it doesn't.

Ecc 9:5-
The living are conscious that there is a future before them: but the dead are unconscious; they earn nothing, receive nothing, even the memory of them soon disappears; they are no longer excited by the passions which belong to people in this life; their share in its activity has ceased. Solomon here describes what he sees, not what he believes; there is no reference here to the fact or the mode of the existence of the soul in another world, which are matters of faith.
The last clause of Ecc_9:6 indicates that the writer confines his observations on the dead to their portion in, or relation to, this world.

Joh 14:1 Do not let your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
Joh 14:2 In My Father's house are many dwelling places. But if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you!
Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will receive you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.
Joh 14:4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.
Joh 14:5 Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You go, and how can we know the way?
Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

The "rememberance" of them has been forgotton. When we die, our souls go to heaven or hell. They have no more "life" on earth. And are changed--well we who believe will have new bodies and be changed--therefore we may not remember anything here in this life. And so is for the dead who are not saved....but they will know eternal suffering and what it is like to be separated from God ( See Revelation 19-20) Also the Bible in Mark explains that hell is "weeping and gnashing of teeth" ---one is not conscious of what their life was like on earth, but that they are suffering from being separated from God for all eternity. For believers it says:
1 Corinthians 15:52
in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. Yes and as Ross explained about the second death which is hell....but we who are saved meet the Lord instantly- as the Bible says "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" 2 Corinthians 5:8--this is referring to those who are saved in Jesus Christ.

That passage means that when you are dead, you have no cares of the earth world, you don't care about bills, money, jobs, etc for they don't exist after death.

plus don't forget that during the resurrection that it states that YAHWEH (GOD) will rise those from the slumber of sleep, death.

This is a debate that we can't really know for sure. Some believe we die and just rest till we are called for rapture and judgment. Others think we go to heaven or hell right away when we die and are judged at that time. Others think we just go to a "holding space" till the rapture and the judgment. This is why they see fellow people they know, go through a tunnel, etc. Its just to a room for "holding" for you never hear of anyone talking about heaven and the pearly gates when they die. Cause you can't see that till the rapture and all.

Just using that verse I read: The living know they will die; the dead know nothing, do nothing and will not be remembered.

The living will always live, the dead are erased.

I'm an atheist so I would of course so no.....but the problem with asking ANY question with any holy book is that it can be used by the religious people any way they want. They change their mind, they change their meaning, or can't even agree on what scriptures mean.
