I think that a better question to ask is: How can I know that God is real?

It's up to God to reveal Himself to you, he did to me. But if you find yourself WANTING to come to God, then you have a reason to know that you are being led to him. You see, the desire itself comes from him. It's something that he puts in us, the desire that is.

That's IF you want to come to him.

I am sorry that you don't believe in God. But no, I can not convince you that He is real. A person can not come to the truth without the help of the Holy Spirit. If you are really wanting to know God, then pick up a Bible and begin reading. The more you read, the more you'll know. When you begin reading, thoughts, questions may begin popping into your mind. Take time to think about what you've read and ask God to lead you to the truth. If you seek after God, then you will find Him. He is the only one that can show you the truth. Once you've found the truth and you've found God. Then come back here with any questions and I'll try to point you (in God's Word) to the answers that you're looking for.

If *I* (or any OTHER human) could convince you that God is real, then there would be no need whatsoever for faith.

Having faith, there's absolutely NO way that someone can convince me that I'm wrong.

Suffice it to say that "logic" fails on both sides of the issue. There's a wide river between those who believe and those who don't. Those who do, do so with faith.

Keep your mind and your heart open to the love and mercy of the one true God, and to salvation of your eternal soul thru His Son, Jesus.

People like Ommie will try to convince you using an argument of complexity, but that however is a logical fallacy.

The truth is you cannot be logically convinced that God is real because there is no sufficient evidence to support his existence.

You can be convinced emotionally, however. Fear is a good one. The fear of hell is enough to convince many people to believe in an imaginary god.

No, but God can. If you sincerely want to be convinced that God is real God will give you all the convincing you need. Pray to God to make Himself real to you and He will. It is that simple. But you must be sincere. That is the catch.

If you want the truth, God will reveal the truth to you.

look, ok I can't PROVE to you that God is real but I can tell you to look around. Look at the wonder of life, love, happiness. Look at the Mountains, the lakes, the birds. and tell me that something other than a catostrophic boom didn't create that. All that beauty and glory all over the world. Not one person in the world the same, tell me that science didn't do that when you look around you. and then take a look at the PROVEN power of prayer. People have been on there death beds and then all of a sudden they were cured, I know people that have had uncurable cancer and were told they were going to die and after being prayed for the cancer was gone. So no I can't convince you that he is real, but I can say that I will pray for you and hope that you investigate my answer further and I hope that the power of prayer will work on your heart.

No! only you can convince yourself, because even if someone did, would you believe them? People want to know the truth, but when they have it, they don't believe it. So what makes you think ,showing you That God is real. would change your mind?

If you are really stuborn. There is probobly nothing I can do to convince you. It is all faith. Many have taken the road of faith and have found many benefits such as peace, joy, happiness. Now, I am not saying that if, out of nowhere, you decide to accept Christ with your mouth and feel amazing things. It is when you truly feel that you need God and when you fully understand his love that you can feel his presence. Its all apart of salvation.

Nope! Only God can do that. Sorry!

I also can't convince you that my father Wayne existed. How can I? As far as you know he's just a figment of my imagination until you meet him. That's just the way things are.

No, but He can! I can give you scripture and tell you that personally I know He is real.....But it is God that reveals Himself to those who seek Him with all their heart.
See Romans 1:20 --that right there should be enough for someone to KNOW that God exists.....
Just looking outside at His wonderful creation lets me know "there is a God" A "Creator!"
Does a building have a builder? A painting have a painter? YES!
So as Creation has a Creator!Hebrews 3:4
(For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)

-God has done great things in my life, and one of them is reveal the truth to me through His wonderful word, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and since I became a christian I have wanted nothing but to learn more of my wonderful Savior and live for Him, and share His gospel with others. Because I love HIM!
