I would ask your vet. They can give you an estimate on things like that taking into account your dog's breed and medical history.

Depending on the breed, you can generally double what ever they weigh at 4 months and add or subtract 5-10 pounds for most dogs.
Since she is 27 pounds at 4.5 months I would guess 50-60 pounds.

I would get a very large crate, with a divider. Your puppy will get bigger, by the time she is 1, she will be close to full grown, yet probably still in the chewing phase and puppy... therefore you might still want to crate her while you are gone, especially for long periods of time. plus some dogs find it as a 'sanctuary' and like their kennel, even when they are adults, you could leave the door open, and they could go as they please. While she is small though, you want a smaller space, so she learns not to 'go potty' in the crate, the smaller the space, the less likely she will be to use the restroom, dogs don't want to sit in their feces or urine either! lol! This will assist w/ training her! Good luck, and congrats!

You can just about double her weight now and get a rough estimate of what she will weigh full grown. I would expect her to be 60ish pounds....give or take a few and depending on the breed!

It's impossible to predict ANYTHING about MUTT/MONGRELS!
Which,of course,is the POINT of pure bred animals.
But,a 4 1/2 mon. old pup is nowhere near HALF grown.
