I first saw him on Thanksgiving break and he was with his girlfriend. then i started to develope a crush on him. then i saw him over Christmas break and he was being a major flirt. before Christmas break my friend called his cousin and told him that i liked him and she told him not to tell but of course he did. then my friend asked the guy i like if there was a chance that he liked me and he said yes. i was so freaked out!!! he is 3 years older than me and he has a girlfriend, then my friend asked him about a week later what he was going to do about his girlfriend and he said that he was going to break up with her but it was supposed to be a surprise for me. i really wish my friend hadnt told me that becuase now im really scared that he is going to ask me out and i've never had a boyfriend and im afraid that he is interested in a serious relationship and he lives in a different state. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

be careful!!! lots of guys tell girls they don't have a girlfriend anymore to enjoy other women/girls
if he lives in another state...all the more easy for him to pull that off...you would never know he still had a girlfriend
and for him to "surprise" you by telling you he broke up with his girlfriend so he could ask you out when he doesn't even really know you sounds kind of shakey to me!!!!
he could be on the level, but from what you have said here it sounds like he might just want his cake (his girlfriend in the state where he lives) and eat it too (i.e. you)
just be careful and good luck

Explain to him NOW before he breakes up with his girl friend that you aren't interested in a serious relationship just yet, as you have never had a boyfriend. Also how could you go out with him if he's in a different state? Take it slow and don't rush into any thing. remember, communication is the key! : )

If that girl u call a friend was a very good friend she would be putting your personal stuff out there, if u know what i mean!!
Well just think.....if he is going to break up with his girlfriend to be with you and u don't even no how long they were going out ..just think of it like that's your boyfriend and he is planing on leaven you for a different girl...

Don't be foolish. You may like him and he may like you also but think about it. How are you going to know if he really 'breaks up" with his girlfriend? He could be telling you anything to "get some". Second why would you want a man who breaks up with his girlfriend just to be with you. What if he sees another girl he likes he could do the same hing to you. Break up with you only to get with another female.
