I think "Once Upon a Dream" from the animated Disney movie, "Sleeping Beauty", is beautiful and perfect for the bridal march. I wanted to walk down the aisle to it when I got married. However, I settled for Canon in D as a compromise with my then fiance, now husband:) Anyhow, "Once Upon a Dream" was adapted from Tchaikovsky's waltz in his "Sleeping Beauty Ballet".

Many brides walk down to the Bridal March but that song was written about virgin brides walking to their sacrifice so that was off limits to me. I choose Trumpet Voluntary: the below link should lead you to a place you can listen to it, type Trumpet Voluntary in the search tool in upper right corner, try all the artists because each artist has their own take on the original.

For the Processional: Canon in D
For the Recessional: Trumpet Tune
You can listen to most of the other peoples suggestions with that site as well. Congrats and Good Luck!

Canon in D is always a good choice and is not just the "wedding march". Maybe even Enya - very airy and erthreal. If you have cable some packages include XM radio that have classical stations - I usually have it on in the backgound at home..you can listed to that periodically and see if you here something you like. Or buy a couple of cd's - there are some marketed toward weddings

think about the songs that you like. Classical is just that classy. Save the Jon Bon Jovi songs for the after party. check out a few cds online : the best of classical music or even those wedding cds.

Mozart - Requim
It's always felt to me like an ideal piece to walk down the isle to. It has a magical feel to it. And very apropriate, especially if you'll be marrying in a church as it is church music.

I love Beethoven's "Ode to Joy".
(P.S. I believe Britney walked down the aisle to "Oops, I did it again").
