IF Jesus were a blood relative of Mary, obviously her son born of her Genes, which helped to make Jesus human,
correct?
And if Mary had other children, Which would have been Jesus' brothers and sisters, and they had children, which would have been Jesus' neices and nephews (again, blood relatives)
How could there be no bloodline of Jesus?

If Jesus was "not concieved of the virgin mary' and he was CONCEIVED is one of the main cornerstones of your belief..,
Not just plopped of Jesus dust into the womb of a woman, if that were the case, why didn't God just plop him down in adult form, like Adam?.

Ah, Dude: Pish:, If that were true, than I think the Royal Family would take issue with this since the Windsors were the relatives through brothers and sisters, NOT the direct descendants through children, in which I think it was Edward...?Who abdicated the throne...
You do understand bloodline is indeed traced through your brothers and sisters, you are indeed blood related to your brothers and sisters children, right?

Mitochondrial DNA is exclusively the mother's, and can now be traced nearly all the way back to about 7 known sources, all predating Christ.
Jesus had no brothers and sisters, in spite of what some protestants choose to believe, so there's no bloodline of Jesus in the world today.
Catholics always knew this for a fact, because Catholics were "on the ground" at the time of Christ, and they knew Jesus and Mary.
The apostles were themselves Catholic, and details like this are important, so were correctly preserved and handed down, before any of the new testament was ever set to writing.

Yes Jesus was born of Mary and did probably have some of her DNA. Yes He did have brothers and sisters as the Scriptures state. But, His brothers and sisters were born of both Mary and Joseph, whereas Jesus was born of Mary and the incarnation of the Holy Spirit. He did not inherit any DNA from a human father.
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He will bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.
This is the uniqueness of Christ's birth, He was born of the seed of a woman. Men usually carry the seed, except in this case.
The bloodline is passed on from parent to child, and so on. So, technically, he did have blood relatives, but He did not pass on His bloodline since He never had children, therefore, the unique bloodline and DNA that made up Jesus was never passed on to another.

There is a bloodline of Jesus. Jesus was a descendant of David, King of Israel, and Abraham, Father of Israel. The Bible lays of bloodlines a lot. Jesus' bloodline ended there, because Jesus had no children. A bloodline is traced through the individual, not through an individual's brothers and sisters. If you want a bloodline from Abraham to Jesus, read Matthew 1.

Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God as well as the son of Mary.
The Bible clearly states that the Holy Spirit caused Mary to conceive.
A haploid of Jesus' "mitochondrial DNA" is from Mary, the other half from God.
In spite of the fact that Jesus never got married, Christians are "born from above" into the family of Jesus Christ. The Bible is very clear on this point. But it's not a "bloodline", it's a heritage. We're "adopted in" so to speak.
Most Christians don't understand the significance of descendancy, but it's essential to understanding what God is communicating to us through the Bible.
It's important for Christians to understand that Jesus is our "Kinsman redeemer", as in the book of Esther. He can redeem us because we're "kin". i.e. descendants of Adam's bloodline.
Jesus did indeed have relatives, including half-brothers and sisters, and no doubt neices and nephews, but no direct blood descendants.
And don't confuse "Christians" with "Catholics". Christians believe the Bible, Catholics believe the Pope.
If you're going to hold someone's feet to the fire pertaining to what's in the Bible, don't ascribe Catholic belief systems to them. Catholics don't even pretend to believe the Bible. At least not those who understand their Catholicism.
Apples & oranges, my friend.

Mary and Joseph were both of the lineage of David.
Jesus Himself would not have a bloodline unless He had children.
Jesus, in Earthly form, was of Mary's bloodline, but no one is of Jesus' bloodline unless He reproduced.
And yes, I have been tortured with mitochondrial DNA before. MANY years ago...

Jesus is a blood relative of Mary. So you are mostly correct however, when the Bible speaks of bloodline, it refers to the fact that He had relatives but, no children or descendants. Please see Isaiah 53:8.

I am Christian. You are 100% correct. For some strange reason some of the newer churches don't think the Mother of God is very important. This is not the only way in which fundamentalists deny science and defy common sense but She loves them anyway.

There is a blood line of Jesus just as you have layed out. Jesus was human but there was nothing special in his DNA. He was special because of his spirit and relationship with God. Physically he was just a man; Spiritually he was God.
