M1-Garand Bayonet? Where do I get one?

Question

Is there any good sites you would recomend getting a M1 Bayonet w/ M7 scabbard, or a M5 Bayonet or a M5-1 Bayonet. On Cheaperthandirt.com I can get the M8A1 Sheath which is for only the M5 and M5-1 Bayonets. So where can I actually get the bayonets because my Dad and I just bought my M1 Garand today and Cheaper than dirt only sells the M14 and M1 Carbine Bayonets. And links will be greatly appreciated! And also I'm most likely will only get one bayonet but if you know where I can get all three that will be great. Then it will give me a choice from which ones I can and can't get. Lastly, I will either get a original (which I would perferr) or a replica.

If Sportsmansguide doesn't help you, try e-gunparts.com...If you do a google search, you will find a few websites devoted to old military weapons. Good Luck!

Congratulations on your Garand ... did you get a Greek or a Danish CMP Garand?

If you go to Sportsmans Guide (http://www.sportsmansguide.com ), they had a few different bayonets that will fit the Garand. Be forewarned though, some states and municipalities ban the possession of bayonets!

Out of curiousity, why do you want a bayonet for your Garand? Be careful, because most Garand sheaths are self-sharpening!

maybe if you have a trade lot somewhere that has an army surplus store there you can find one, but i do know you can find them on ebay.
