What is your priority when buying furniture for your city-center flat?

Considering price, aesthetics and how practical (functional) it is.

A Bed is the most importment.You could get a Futon which is a Couch that turns into a Bed ,These can be very cheap Particulary Second hand , or even a Convertable Couch which is more comfortable and quite Cheap second hand. A Wardrobe /Closet if none available in Flat, This can be made by youre self to cut down cost, All you need is a couple of pieces of Veneered Wood , Two Doors ,Hinges and Screws to put it together and Plywood Backing. A Table and Two Chairs.A Rug for the Floor, you can get cheap Nylon Wool mixture Rug in most Department Stores ,these can be a good size. Dont Bother getting Indian or Persian Rugs they are to dear and are hard to keep clean. You will need Curtains for the Window. A Net Curtain for Daytime,and a Heavier Curtain for Evening that you can draw across. I am Assuming this is The British Isles youre talking about, and a Bed Sit and everthing is at a minimum.
