Terrorists will be emboldened to take over neutral or weak countries knowing that the US wouldn't have the will to fight, especially if we have a Democrat as president.
The Iraqi people will be killed by the thousands as the militant groups fight it out for control. Iran or Syria will take control of Iraq and its oil.
The Israelis will be itching to use atomic weapons.

They would be put back in there place. Of course I'm not talking about the average joe but your government, the ones that actually put their own people in danger in the first place. After the second invasion of Israel in the mid 50's the U.S. saw an opportunity to trade arms for confiscated oil from the countries surrounding Israel. Those are Jordan, Iraq, Iran and... Can’t remember the other two. Those 5 counties asked the U.S. to leave at once and they would sign a peace treaty and vow never to attack Israel again. The U.S. found that this oil they were, so to speak, stealing was VERY profitable so they said no; which started the whole thing. During the end of the cold war The U.S. traded with Thailand. What did they trade? Heroin. The CIA supplied 60% of the black market Heroin in the late 80's. Why? To raise money, to fund the Taliban for fighting against the Russians. That's right...the Taliban...Osama Bin Laden and friends. All that poisoning of there own people and the loss of the Iraq war on "Terror" will result in a public out rage and the country will fall, crumbling from the inside out.
If you look at history, all countries China, England...witch were worlds most powerful at the time, erected a wall around their country to keep invaders out. With-in a 75 years those empires crumpled. Witch is what The U.S. is doing. "Homeland Security". It doesn't keep the bad people out. It keeps the bad people in.

depends. no doubt that the U.S. would lose its' pride as well as credibility. They already went in there for false reasons, so if they lose it would have been pointless. To even win the war in Iraq is quite complicated, they're trying to set up a stable government which the people can accept, but the problem lies with the strong religious influence that is present in this country. Without separation of church and state, there is no way a successfull and stable government can be established. With the war in Iraq, if the U.S. were to lose, it would be a victory for the religious extremists, and from there these religious extremists would probably continue in their terror aimed towards the U.S. Cause once the U.S. is out of Iraq, what will they do? chase the U.S. onto their ground or try to reinstate a government which is dominated by their sect of religion. If the U.S. loses, Iraq will be left in the state of chaos and corruption for years to come.

What war are you talking about? There is no war, it's an occupation at this point, been that way for quite awhile. I'll grant you that we are in the middle of a civil war--that we started, by creating a minority puppet government in hopes of securing oil interests. Our presence only adds to the Chaos--in every angle of the unrest locally and country to country. We need to get out of there--ASAP.
Iraqi's---without our presence--would be forced to split up the oil revenues between the three peoples and not a 70% GIVE AWAY TO BIG OIL FOR 30 YEARS--Being in favor of what Bush is trying to accomplish would be like wanting to build a pipeline to Africa from the Great Lakes to supply fresh water--It's that insane!!
England is having elections this May.
Great Britain is pulling out--despite Tony Blairs past rhetoric, which is similar to our neo-cons---and how far away is G.B. from the region? Obviously the threat does not exist. Republicans--on their way out of political office--at all levels of Gov't---will regret going down with the sinking ship.
The only folks that will lose will be the elites that put all their eggs in the White House/Republican basket!!

Like it or not, we already lost the war. We lost it the moment we invaded without a cause or a strategy. The slow attrition of losing a war but not admitting it demoralizes the troops, just like it did in Vietnam. The disaster created by the Bush Administration has had the effect of unifying our enemies and dividing our friends, and the constant borrowing funds from our greatest rival, Red China, has weakened America beyond measure.
Why wear blinders AND bury your head in the sand?

We really didn't lose the war, we mishandled the occupation. The goal of the war was to remove Saddam and his regime. Mission accomplished. Unfortunately, what gets put in his place is the problem.
In many respects, the war is not ours to lose - but rather the Iraqis. I would venture to think that Iran would be able to quell the insurgency (largely because they are fueling it). A dominant Shiite state with a repressed minority. I don't see how it affects the U.S. in any substantial way. As long as trade is flowing, peace is possible.

If we pull out of Iraq right now and "lose" (if that is what you mean by losing), the Sunnis and Shiites would engage in an all out civil war. There would be more death in Iraq at that point but at least they wouldn't be American deaths. And we "shouldn't" really pull out now because we caused an unstable country to become even more unstable when we invaded and killed their leader in the first place. Either way I believe going in there was a mistake but at the same time, Saddam was a bastard and getting rid of him was good but the question is: was going into Iraq our responsibility to undertake?

That's pretty hard to answer, as there are no clear-cut standards for winning or losing this war. It's extremely unlikely that this war will end in complete victory or complete loss for the U.S. Almost assuredly, there will some ambiguity when the war ends as to just how much was accomplished.

I think we won the war already.
It will probably become Iran Jr. With some factions attempting genocide on others. Oil prices will probably sky rocket. We will be no safer, but we will be no safer by staying. Extremist Clerics will probably turn it into a victory with their distorted ways. Everyone will still hate the US. Probably more too, but that's all I can think of right now. I still think all of this will happen either way. "Should I Stay or Should I go Now." Good tune.

We will never technically "lose" the war in Iraq. What I mean is we won't be forced to leave by force of arms. We may abandon the war but we can't lose a war that we've already won.
