I want input on what people think the progression is and what causes it to progress...i mean what do you consider "seeing someone" "dating someone" "being in a relationship" etc...and what point is it exclusive? what point is it physical? etc..

Well, I think love causes it to progress, if you don't love someone then why go any farther. So if I see a propect I will persue it farther to see what can become of this person. Therefore I start dating them. If I get to the point where I like being around them all the time then I start a relationship. Physically, I would like to have a family.

Prgress is inevitable. It only happens when allowed to, but it's ineveitable, often right and necessary. The longer a relationship has existed, the sooner it gets to a physical point and it's often unrealized when it occurs. And to quoate Dr. John Grey, there is not set pace that a relationship has to take. Read his book "Venus And Mars On A Date". It's helpful.

I am dating someone know I really care about him. He is a much older guy I don't think he take me serious because of my age. I am in love with him so much. But I don't want to waste my life/time on someone who don't want to be with me. I wish you the best just take your time choose wisely.
