there is been truly some chilly dry climate round, lately. And once you convey that already dry air into the residing house & warmth it up- it truly dries out. and that is the position the static shocks are available in. the acceptable portion of do; is to introduce moisture into the air... save a pot of water boiling on the range for some hours an afternoon...Or run a warm bathe with the lavatory door open for a million/2 an hour an afternoon... you also would try going to the save & procuring a number of that "Static shelter" belongings you spray on clothing to get the wrinkles out...-& spray it on the garments you're donning. except THAT, pray for a rain you could depart the doors open to for awhile...

I've had that happen to me with cars. Everytime I would get out of a car and close the door I would get shocked but it has stopped. Don't know what the cause of it was. Sorry couldn't help but it should go away.

I am going threw the same thing right now. Everything that I touch that is metal, Like my car door , any door knob. My husband of course he is not metal but I shock him and the kids. I have know clue. But my mother said that it has something to do with it being cold and if you have carpet in your home and the close that you were!

! That's happened to me before!
There are several possible reasons:
~Clothes made of polyester
~Too dry, drink more water
~You move too much. Lol.

Yeah, if you live in a dry area, and I don't mean hot dry. I mean like, not humid, then that could be the reason. Clothes made of polyester have a tendency of being very static.
