Depends on how big your kitten is. It can hide under any bed, couch or table. In any closet or small space. Make sure you didn't leave your door open for it to get out (if your kitty is an inside cat). Take a flash light around the house and look in every nook and cranny and take your time. Shake a can of his/her favorite treats or shake and rattle their favorite toy. Noises that make it come normally should be repeated. If it's not a toy or treats that your kitty normally responds to, try calling their name or making that kissing sound that cats seem to come to. Hey, you'd never know. As long as your doors and windows are shut, hence proving that your kitty CAN'T be outside, maybe your kitty is sleeping in a nook somewhere or even worse, lying in an obvious spot you never would have thought of. LOL. GOOD LUCK!! :-)

If you know your kitten is indoors then it's probably fine and just hiding in a weird place. I've found mine under beds, inside the back of the couch, in a small space in the back of the tv, under other furniture that has only a couple inches clearance from the floor, in closets, in boxes, etc.

If your kitten is scared, it would hide wherever it felt safest (closet, under a bed, couch, or even in a drawer). Try walking around shaking a bowl or cup of food, or she may just come out on her own. You may want to make sure she hasn't been locked in anywhere such as a basement or closet. Hope you find her!

Check under all the beds and couches
Behind your tv
Check on the chairs in your dinning room or anywhere
Look in the basement
Check all the vents
Check all the high places that you think your kitten can't reach
Look in all the closed and open room (closets, etc)
**Good luck I hope you find your kitten**=]]

I advise leaving some water and nutrition outdoors of the hollow for her and putting a comfortable blanket for her to sleep on interior the showering room as properly. She is probable hiding interior the flow slowly area at the back of the hollow and is only too afraid to return out, yet as quickly as she gets used to the recent smells and sounds she could experience extra tender popping out. in case you do no longer discover her with the aid of this time the next day i might advise putting up "lost cat" indicators around city and probable getting a neighbor or plumber to envision out the hollow. returned, she is probable only hiding and could come out quickly. Kittens are sneaky like that:)

Look in places that are warm in your house. Kittens will seek out warmth. I once found my cat (then a kitten) curled up into the space under the motor of my refridgerator.

Check in any trees around your yard. When I first got my cat, he got stuck in a tree for nearly two days before we could get him down. Cats have no problem getting up trees, but until they learn to go down backwards, they won't come down.
Important: IF your cat is still in a tree, DON'T climb up and get him down right away! Give him an opportunity to come down on his own...put some food or a favourite toy at the bottom of the tree to coax him down. It's important that he learns how to get out of a tree on his own.
If he's not in a tree, turn your house upside down. You wouldn't believe some of the tiny spaces kittens can squeeze into, places you wouldn't think to look.
Just stay positive, you'll find him/her!

You might try looking in like dresser drawers and places like that even if they are not open cats have a way of finding their way up inside the back of the drawer. I had a kitten who did this.

Don't spend a load of time turning your house upside down until you are sure that s/he is missing. Take the food out of his or her food bowl and leave it empty for at least a day. S/he may start wailing for food or may come running to you. If not, then turn your house upside down in case s/he's stuck and is somehow incapable of meowing. /i would also place an ad in the newspaper with a description of him or her to make sure no one has found her. Search down the block after you're positive s/he's not in the house.

Under the house, in the basement, in any tight small hole, in any large hole, in your walls, in your attic, in your garage, in a parked car (the engine), under a bed, in a closet, in a pipe, behind the toilet, in a neighbors house or garage, under a neighbors car, etc. I'm sorry he's lost and I hope you find him. As kittens they can get into some very tight and tiny places so look everywhere. try shaking treats or pouring food in a dish or opening a can. Leave tuna out (maybe in a trap?) or wet food as a tempting treat. I hope you find him/her.
