That's fine except if you're pregnant and if you don't mind the smell. Sometimes it can become a health issue, so I wouldn't recommed keeping it in the bedroom, but I'm okay with the idea. A good thing about keeping it in the bedroom would be that you will always be reminded to clean it! Keep it in a covered place so s/he can have some privacy and clean it daily, if not more than that. I would NOT use any scented litter, air fresheners, etc. around the litterbox. This sometimes discourages cats from using the litterbox because they can't stand the smell and it can cause going outside of the litterbox and can become a habit hard to break.Good luck with your kitten. I bet s/he's really cute!

Yep as long as you have no allergies, or anyone suffers from asthma or any respiratory ailments, it may also be a hygeine issue as a cat owner myself, I am aware of the fact that kittens can kick the faeces out of the litter box, I also would not recommend it if you have any small children. Please make sure your room is also well ventilated and there is some sort of air freshener in the vicinity, there is also a new product out called the Litter Kwitter, which allow's your cat to do it's thing on the toilet, it is quite a nifty product as seen in the movie Meet The Fockers. Good Luck!

If you have carpet in your room, it could get messy...I have 2 cats and every once in a while I find some poo outside the box that got knocked out and tracked on the floor. Also, even if you scoop it out every day...it will always stink! Unless you can afford to put a brand new bag of litter in it every day, you will constantly have to deal with litter box smell. I have mine in a closet that has a sliding door. Its works great for us and the cats, and when someone is over to visit, I just shut the door.
Good luck!

Yes. Some people designate an area where the floors aren't heavy w/traffic...and a place that is frequently cleaned...just because the litter is in the box...doesn't mean it doesn't get out and all over the place.

My cat's litter box is in my bedroom. It's under a desk in the corner that I don't use anymore. It's also a covered box, so she can have privacy and it doesn't smell up the room.

Not very sanitary and cats like litter boxes to be in a more private setting. Place it in a laundry room, basement, spare closet (with door open at all times).or a spare bedroom or office area

Yes. Keep it strained, morning and night. Put some regular baking soda in there to absorb any odor. You can also get a budda box cat box. It has a lid on it with a filter on the top. It helps to contain any spills.

Well.. no honestly it wouldn't be if you want to keep your bedroom smelling nice and keep it from becoming dirty.. Catz tend to use the litter box and scratch it which causes the litter to go outside the box...

No problem if you don't mind the bit of odor and tramping through litter gribbets. Or hearing the cat do it's business in the middle of the night.

As long as nobody who sleeps in the bedroom is pregnant it is perfectly safe. Make sure to clean it out every day to help prevent your bedroom from smelling.
