The term "Son of God" is used all over the Bible referring to people other than Jesus, check out the following verses:
‘"…the son of Enoch, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.”’ LUKE 3:38
‘"…that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose."’ GENESIS 6:2
‘"Then you shall say to Pharaoh, Thus says the LORD, Israel is My son, My firstborn."’ EXODUS 4:22
‘"…For I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn."’ JEREMIAH 31:9
‘"For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God."’ ROMANS 8:14
So how come Christians don't regard those people as Gods, the way they regard Jesus (peace be upon him)?

I have read the Bible...front to back...14 times...I have no clue what point you are trying to make and this is not a question.

There is no "Original text of the Bible". Every religion starting with the Roman Catholics started to take certain codices of the Word and those priests Canonized them as being the true word from God. How can that be when MAN did the selecting and choosing of which were the official "Word of God" and the rest was garbage. MAN cannot make that decision and I don't care what kind of "funny hat" he wears. My philosophy is Kindness

You should read the books of Lawrence Gardiner. Mostly it is taken that the "sons of God" are human, in many instances. Jesus was the only begotten son of God, that makes
the Big Difference from the run-of-the-mill son of God.

All those other 'sons of God' did not give their perfect human life so that we would have a chance to have everlasting life. Also, Jesus is the only person that was created directly by God. All others, even spirit creatures were created through Jesus...that is why Jesus is referred to as 'the only-begotten Son of God'.

We are all spirit sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father.

The Savior is his literal son, and so his flesh and blood body was half mortal (Mary), half of God. The difference it made is vast. He had a body capable of dying, but it was also capable of performing the atonement and resurrection.

Please don't confuse the Christians. They stop eating and start making whinny rationalizations.

Begotten is a synonym of Sired.....Can y'all figure out who sired Jesus, finally. If Jesus is "Gods' only begotten Son" y'all got some language complications.

If a Creator created us then we are his children.

I happen to prefer the Native American Creator God, who only asked that we live in harmony with nature.

Not the one defined by Hebrew scribes that made Jews his favorite, demanded animal sacrifices for 4000 years and then decided to have his favorite son murdered.

John 3:16, my friend

Read the part that says "only begotten"

That's what we mean.

If we are true born again believers, then we are all sons (or daughters) of God...what is your point?
